What a judges race is all about.

Judges in our democracy should not be politicians but rather unbiased persons who can make fair decisions based on the law. Fayette County has a long history of electing Judges who were not viewed as Democrats or Republicans but rather as impartial persons who would do a fair and competent job.

I have never run for office before and will not run again, whether elected or not. I am not related to any politicians nor do I owe them anything.

A person who comes into my courtroom will not be judged by who they are related to or what political office they hold. All persons stand equal before the law, and I will make sure of this when elected.

I firmly believe that if a person is related to someone with political power, I will not give them one advantage in my courtroom. There will be no sweetheart guilty pleas in any cases, nor will I be lenient in sentencing in such situations.

Upon my election every case that I preside over will be judged fairly, regardless of status, race, or otherwise. Every citizen is entitled to a fair and unbiased hearing.
